That's a lot of doors that just opened. Three, to be exact. All when I opened the first one.

Just Ridin' Along
Here he comes again; good ol' Mr. Headless.
At this stage I'm wondering whether he has a quest for me or not.
Nope! Just riding along. Not exactly what I'd expect of a headless horseman, but hey - what do I know of such things?

Hooah
I tried the two-handed sword (shown on my back) for a few swings. The darned thing is as tall as I am! Not my style.

Most Unusual
Shoes. Lots of them. And I didn't put them there.
An underwater barrow! I was TOTALLY hoping for an underwater dungeon, but there's no door.

Potema
This is the shade of Potema. A pretty amazing scene, if you ask me. A pity I had to destroy her - I'm sure she would have been a far more interesting leader for Solitude than the current Jarl.

Elder Dragon
This is the first elder dragon I have encountered. I couldn't kill the darned thing.

Bear Necessity
The thing chased me for no reason whatsoever.
I needed to put it out of its misery.
I did.

Very Pretty Mod
I really love this mod. It's super-pretty. I only added it a few hours ago, and have already encountered an "elemental" dragon. The blood dragon. Apparently the Blood Dragon uses a "swamp dragon" skin. The other two dragons affected by this mod are the fire dragon and the ice dragon.
Isn't it cool?

Smart-As
The. Smartest. Thief. Ever.
Sort of.
Well okay, the dumbest.
See, I had just taken down a dragon - and absorbed its soul - when out of the blue comes: "hand over your valuables". Darnedfoolmuch? She didn't see me mash the dragon? Her mistake.
Oh, and I tried to tell her to leave off. I told her I didn't have time to be robbed. I even started walking away. No such luck, though; she attacked me. It was her luck that was lacking, though - I got a suit of glass armor out of the bargain.

Assassins Bleed
Yet again, the Dark Brotherhood tries to knock me off. I am not the one dying in this picture. I have got to find a way to shut down that organisation.
Also a bear tried gnawing on me.

Whiterun to Bloodrun
Ulfric asked me to take an axe to the jarl of Whiterun. I dreaded the jarl's response.
The jarl sent the axe back with me. A signal of war.
The moment Jarl Ulfric asked me to march against Whiterun was the moment I lost my love for the Stormcloaks. I am aligned with them for now, and I want the Imperial army out of Skyrim, but when the war is over I will personally finish Ulfric.

We Are of the Dragon
Legendary-level, enchanted dragon armor and a fully-upgraded elven sword. I thought it was the least I could give her in recompense for helping the Stormcloaks take over her home city. And for keeping her away from the battle.
I later decided to make some heavy dragon armor for myself.

Nothing New
The lack of uploaded screenshots over the past few days is simply because I haven't had as much Skyrim time. I'd post some, but I don't have any to post right now. Well hey, just for the fun of it I'll show you a few dated ones:
The dragon died, then went half underground. (It later rolled down a little way down the hill.)
Making friends with sabrecats is 1) unlikely and 2) dangerous. I tried doing so with a sword. It would have been much easier if two dryad-lookalikes (I forget what they are called) hadn't been controlling and aiding the thing.
This is one of my extra characters, purely created for me to experiment on. Here he is standing in Cyrodiil. Very exciting. Also rather blank.
Dragon in Falkreath! -again.

Breaking the Dark Brotherhood
Three innocents, tied in a shack, what am I to do?
Kill them off or set them free, whichever shall I choose?
With Astrid dead, I realised that there was only one way to go. I would have to finish off the entire Dark Brotherhood.

Farewell, Black Hearts
I destroyed the Dark Brotherhood.
Not the most eerie entrance. Almost classy.
I don't take kindly to being welcomed by a brandished axe.
I killed him, yes, but I laid him to rest in his chair. I am not barbaric, even when the Dark Brotherhood is involved.
Veezara tried his mettle on me, but my metal was stronger.
The Dark Brotherhood had a pet spider?
Nazir. He took two arrows. I arrayed his body on the table.
Festus Krex appeared to be the leader of the Dark Brotherhood (after Astrid's passing). He was standing in front of a rather ornate glass symbol of a skull. He was also the last Dark Brotherhood member I killed.
I am aware that I forgot to take a screenshot of the female member I encountered. This was purely by mistake.
Also, I won't be posting for a few days, as I will be out of town. Thanks to everyone who follows my Skyrim experience though! Feel free to send comments to ekul.ylnam(at)gmail.com.

The Hunt For A Bard's Pome
Swish.
Swish.
Ghost with a sword. In other words, he's going to help me.
One of my better-timed killcam screenshots.
King Olaf One-eye - the final boss.
I found the poem in a rather dead man's clutches.
After a little reconstruction-on-the-fly, the head bard and I presented the poem to the jarl of Solitude.

Inducted By Bards
Apparently, I'm now one of the DJs. I can't seem to play instruments or anything, though. All I got was a fancy ceremony.
Oh, and fwoosh. The fire animations in Skyrim are quite pretty touches of art.

Scaredy-venturer
This guy saw elemental giant spiders and fled. He wasn't a very adventurous adventurer.

Spiders of Doom
... or at least of pretty colours.
Pretty neat entrance for a spider cave. There must be more to it.
Spiders in cages? Smart, very smart. I thought spiders could squish their way through tiny spaces.
Oh dear. Looks like the spiders in here have the dreaded lurgy. Better not touch, it might be catchy.
Ohhh, there's a necromancer behind this place. Or an enchanter. Or some kind of twisted chap. He wears black and enchants spiders, so that makes him evil. He also tortures baby spiders before killing them with his experiments.
He need never know that I'm behind him. In fact, he never did.
Hai.

Ball Rolling
Seems like I'm the only one keeping the ball rolling - which is a little rough, seeing as I'm not a full-time gamer. I dont mind, though
Also, anyone who watches this thread who has questions should send me a message - whether about Skyrim, my pics, my experience, my interests, or even troubleshooting advice - I'll write back!
My first meeting with the jarl of Riften! I'm not even sure that this is the original jarl, though - I think I swapped Riften for one of the other cities when meeting with the Greybeards, but I may have swapped rulers back when I joined the Stormcloaks and freed Riften.
I didn't know blacksmiths worked in the middle of the night, but apparently the one in Riften does. Or he is this time, anyway.
And here's my reaction to oppressive drug dealers.

Who Let the Dogs Out?
Wolves behind a gate. Easy prey, right?
Indeed, easy prey. However, you might notice that this wolf is outside the gate. As soon as I stealthily shot the first one, the gate swung open and a number of bandits came tumbling down from the ramparts.
Interestingly enough, these bandits had trained wolves to obey them. This wolf attacked me, even though I released it from a cage.

Busy..
Sadly, I've been too busy to play Skyrim over the past week. Next week isn't looking too promising either. I'll post when I can.
