I didn't think poking my nose where it didn't belong would end up getting a citizen killed.



These guys killed him. I killed them. The other Markath guards were not impressed. I went to jail for it.

And of all the darned things to do, I forgot that I was a werewolf. I could have shredded the entire jail. Might have to load the savegame and try that.. but it will be for naught, as I have done so much since then that it would be pretty frustrating to start back there.[img][/img]

The giant won. The giant won!!! But then I thrust a lightning-sword into it.



It died too.

The dragon weren't no little creature, neither.. it was a blood dragon! Beware giants, for they can best even the mighty dragons.

At last - infinite arrows. Comes with 100 arrows per casting. Lasts 120 seconds. Booya!



...and pretty, to boot!

This old chap jumped me in the street and started babbling about magic and a duel of magic-stuffs. I told him no - twice - but he wouldn't listen. He didn't understand that I was no wizard. I had no choice but to take a sword to him; it was that or die over and over and over. And over. There were a couple of times when he yelled out that I was cheating, but I had no choice. It was a bit of a shame, but the guy was a moron.

Yup, its a huge two-handed piece of glass. Not my style.

Believe it or not, these guys are filthy rich. Dead, yes, but filthy rich. Each one carries between 25 and 125 gold!



And there's so darn many of them!!!

P.S.- no, they aren't zombies. They are merely corpses.

Thought I'd share a neat screenshot I took of Dawnbreaker in front of Meridia's statue. As pretty as it might be, the sword does less damage than my own customised one though, so I won't be switching over any time soon

And yes, they tempt you to mess with them - behind the button is a chest, ripe for looting.

Yes, that is indeed a tongue of flame hitting nothing in particular.. except the only way forward. How conveniant.

Big levers controlling big gates lead to big enemies.



And sure enough, a dwarven centurion comes after me. He even breathes steam, if I get close enough.



But then he decided to act as perfect target practice. He did not move higher than that step, and his steam attack could not reach me. Regular arrows would just annoy him, so it's a good thing I brought a flame-enchanted bow!

These shadows are eerily beautiful.



This Dwemer spherical object did not fit in my screen. It was pretty amazing to behold.



And it stared at me!



Looming over the sphere object is what looks like a model of.. a constellation, perhaps?



(Sun?) + model constellation = pretty laser-lights. Very pretty.



Big, big crystal with a quest-marker pointing straight at it. Coincidence? I think not. But how am I supposed to squeeze a two-ton jewel in my pocket?



I would never have guessed that the big crystal was hollow. But it was! How many other pretty things in the game are hollow inside? Oh wait, the game is a massive collection of 1's and 0's, Haha. Actually that makes it all the more awesome for some reason xD



Now.. I'm not worried about spoilers for the guys who are working on the forum with me, but for anyone who wants some secrets to look forward to: skip to my next post.

It's an Elder Scroll! Cool. I've never seen one before! It's really not where I would have expected to find one, though.



And now, no Elder Scroll Two guesses where it went.

Yeah, yeah, too many pictures of the Dwemer observatory-model thing. I just thought it looked really cool.

A midnight stroll in Skyrim is never really relaxing - there are too many breathtaking views for that.

Woah.. I managed to pin two dragons to the ground with the Dragonrend shout.

Brilliant... even the caves are full of snow! Where can I find a bit of warmth in this winter landscape?

If you thought Cicero was bad? This guy is nuts. Sure, he looks perfectly wise and calm and all - but wait until he talks. He even has the semi-squeaky voice that is expected of insane people.

I thought it looked pretty cool, having a big party at the table. If only the others didn't argue so much..

This is a dragon, and yes:



I get to ride him.

Trying out one of those "enhanced blood textures" mods. It doesn't quite work in 3rd person, but the guy who made the mod made a fix for it as well (to take the "blood on the screen" effects out). I applied them a few minutes after trying the texture, and it's been much better.

Summoned arrows look so cool! They can also help you find someone you killed in dark places, and if you have a high enough conjuration level, you can capture souls with them too. Mighty fine weapon, if you ask me.

Notfair #1 - I found this guy as part of the main quest, and when I reached him he 2-hit KO-d me about five times. He was too strong or too aggressive or something, I don't know what. Or maybe I was too weak? I, dragonslayer?

Notfair #2 - Where he is standing in the picture, he is not moving. He is "running", sure, but he is not moving. He can't scale the bones. All I had to do was pull out my bow and drop his health enough to win his favor.

Summary - Neither outcome/method was fair.

And then shortly afterward, the game was just randomly over. Ther was no quest-marker saying "go to such-a-place" to finish up or anything. I talked to the Greybeards, and they had something to say sure, but they didn't give me a quest or anything... I've been left high and dry. Doomed to wander the land in search of meaning.



And get ambushed by packs of wolves, which I have actually never encountered before.



And visit Falkreath. Another thing I have never done before.



And find crazy doors. I am guessing it has something to do with the Dark Brotherhood, but the darned thing won't let me smash it in. I was going to destroy the Brotherhood once and for all when I found the door, but I'll have to find another way in. Or maybe I can persuade the locals to bring a battering ram?

Sorry, but the only way into the dark brotherhood sanctuary is to join the dark brotherhood and you can only join through murder ^_^

This old chap asked me to give him an honorable death, so I did. I propped him up against the rock where he can keep watch over the road. Fare thee well.

I went up and talked to this guy twice. He made no reply. Then I realised my mistake.
